SHARED TUITION
Abbeys shared clay shooting lessons bring a greater degree of fun when you bring a friend. Even though the shared shooting tuition is a more relaxed undertaking, Abbeys aim is still to improve each individual’s technique and consistency. Clay pigeon shooting requires great concentration so our shared shooting tuition lessons are a fantastic way of balancing the mental focus as well as the fun!
JUNIOR TUITION
Clay pigeon shooting lessons for juniors is an important part of our tuition program. Our young shots scheme ensures that a sensible and structured approach is taken from the very first clay pigeon shooting lesson. GROUP & CORPORATE EVENTS
Clay pigeon shooting is the ideal activity for corporate and group events. Our aim is to make your event as fun and exciting as possible within a safe and controlled environment. Our extended activities include a variety of team building exercises that involve problem solving, improved communications between groups and the development of leadership skills. JUNIORS/KIDS PARTIES
All junior/kids parties are conducted in a safe controlled environment with expert supervision at our shooting ground in Nynehead Somerset. Packages can be tailored to age, size of group, ability and budget. Multi packages available including clay shooting archery, air rifle, dog training and hyde building. Parental snacks/lunch can take place on site including birthday cake. Game Shooting Tuition
Whether your new to game shooting or fairly experienced we offer high tower lessons on the clay range or take our instruction out to the game field where the action takes place. We can even organise game shooting for you or a pre season simulated game day/warm up.
FIELD TUITION
Taking professional advice from the clay range to the game field is the best experience for those unpredictable situations you may come up against. Having an instructor by your side helping you deal with each peg & position on each drive.
SIMULATED GAME
Simulated game days are great fun and are used by many syndicates & game shooters as a pre-season get together and warm up, and is the closest experience to live driven game days in the field.
HIGH TOWER
NOW’S the time to get your gun out of the cabinet & practice on those high birds so you’re ready for game shooting. Our 90 foot high tower is ideal for practicing those high driven birds ready for the game season.
Womens Clay Shooting

Women’s clay pigeon shooting is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK. Clay pigeon shooting for women is a highly accessible sport for all ages and abilities. It is a great way to improve you mind as well as your physical strength and mobility. You do not need any special equipment or licence to participate as this can all be provided on the day and is included in the cost of each lesson.
